Chatea-Conecta is a free and anonymous chat platform that allows users to connect with others worldwide in real-time. No login or registration is required to join the conversation.
+How do I start chatting?
Go to the homepage, enter a username of your choice in the input field, and click Start Chatting. You join the global chat room straight away.
+Is there a mobile version?
Yes. Chatea-Conecta is fully responsive and works on mobile, tablet and desktop, so you can chat wherever you already are.
Privacy and safety
+Is Chatea-Conecta really anonymous?
Yes. You do not need to provide any personal information to use the platform. Avoid sharing sensitive details in the chat for your own safety.
+Does Chatea-Conecta store my chat messages?
No. Chat messages are not stored. All conversations are real-time and ephemeral.
+How is Chatea-Conecta secure?
We use HTTPS to encrypt all communication between your device and our servers. There is more detail on the security page.
+Can I report inappropriate behaviour?
Yes. Use the Report button in the chat interface. Reports reach a moderator and help keep the room welcoming for everyone.
Promotions and PRO
+Why do I see promotional messages in the chat?
The platform is paid for with occasional promotional messages sent by bots. They are marked as Promotions so you can tell them apart from real people.
+Can I block promotional messages?
Not at the moment. We keep them minimal and non-intrusive, and PRO members see fewer of them.
